Safety Rule 13.1.5 Amended

Safety Rule 13.1.5 was amended effective Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, to support recently enacted Federal Railroad Administration regulations relating to close clearance locations and a means to identify those locations where close clearance will not permit a person to safely ride on the side of equipment.

This change affects the TY&E Safety Rules, Maintenance of Way Safety Rules and Mechanical Safety Rules and Policies.

This briefing was distributed throughout BNSF to communicate the amendments to affected employees.
